Possible Spoiler Information - The Downfall of Galveston's May Walker Burleson

May died at the age of 68 in 1957. Through a handwritten will she attempted to will her family home to the city of Galveston with the stipulation that it could be used by "whites-only" groups and strictly prohibited "negroes." This little kicker at the end was just too much for me. A woman, who was probably by all accounts suffering from bipolar disease; who committed murder in broad daylight because her quality of life had been upset; and who served prison time still found herself, even in death, above African Americans.
